Tim is an experienced retail and marketing entrepreneur, strategic thinker and advisor, a qualified and experienced Company Director with the AICD, sat on Not for Profit charity Kids Under Cover's board overseeing their national expansion as Deputy Chair and has held directorship roles in Private Equity invested businesses. With expertise in projects requiring innovative thinking and high growth execution, Tim currently mentors one of Australia’s biggest paint brands.

Tim is always looking for unique opportunities to invest in and has a rare ability to think quickly through their evaluate and likelihood of success. In 2000, Tim Founded the fashion accessory jewelry chain Ice Accessories, which grew rapidly in 2000 from 1 store to 30 stores nationally, by 2006 turning over $40 Million before a successful trade sale exit. Tim is now working on his latest innovation WorksLocal which specialises in Local Area Marketing and after 3 short years operates in three states.

About the series

The High Growth Speaker Series is dedicated to the strategic, tactical and psychological development of high growth entrepreneurs. Grounded in cutting edge entrepreneurship research and science, the series is designed and hosted by RMIT Lecturer and serial entrepreneur, Lauren Rielly.

  • RMIT’s Applied Entrepreneurship students receive a closed one hour lecture at 3.30pm each Tuesday. 
  • High growth speakers take the cinema stage at 4.30pm to share their story, wisdom and action steps. Each event in the Speaker Series has been made open to the public, for the first 50 people to RSVP. 
  • 5.30pm kicks off the entrepreneurship social event at Oxford Scholar Hotel.
