Jordan Green has built high growth ventures around the world with a growth by investment strategy. He is considered one of the world's foremost Angel Investors and leads the Australian early stage investment community. Jordan shares with you his insights on the steps and processes to be followed in order for you to be investment ready that you can apply to your own venture immediately.
From a start as a hands-on design engineer, Jordan has progressed through each perspective of entrepreneurship from an intrapreneur to entrepreneur, advisor, mentor and world-renowned investor. Still under 30 he ran $500m projects, took over CEO positions and started new ventures.
Jordan has worked in many countries and was head-hunted from Australia by a Silicon Valley software firm as their VP/Director for Strategy and for International. After some years based in Silicon Valley, traveling the country and the world non-stop and building a distribution network to cover the globe, he decided to return to Australia and become involved in the local emerging VC industry.
Jordan was a founding partner of one of the best performing venture capital funds in Australia, is co-founder & Deputy Chairman of the Australian Association of Angel Investors and also founded and leads the Melbourne Angels. He has been director, CEO, executive, or engineer for over a dozen technology and engineering companies.
Passionate about developing Australia’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, Jordan continues to facilitate and transform early stage investment opportunities into realised dealflow and has taken a complementary role with the Australian government in delivery of grant assistance to companies commercialising innovative intellectual property.
