David Werdiger has built a high growth venture with a growth by revenue model strategy. He has revolutionised the subscription economy through his new approach to billing. David shares with you his secrets to designing and building a sustainable and scalable revenue model.

David is an experienced technology entrepreneur, strategic thinker and advisor, philanthropist and not-for-profit innovator, public speaker and writer. He has thousands of ideas and is always creating new ways of looking at the ordinary to make it better. His capacity to quickly think through options and synthesize outcomes makes him a powerhouse in any conversation. With a generosity of mind and heart, his eye is always on creating ways to help those in his community.

David founded Billing Bureau (formerly ObjectiveWare) and built it into the premium provider of billing services to Australian tier-2 and tier-3 carriage service providers. He is now expanding & reinventing it to meet the needs of the evolving subscription economy.

Along the way, he created several other synergistic companies in the telco space providing wholesale and retail enabling services. He is a founder and director of several not-for-profits within the Jewish community, focusing on innovation, engaging the next generation, and education.

About the series

The High Growth Speaker Series is dedicated to the strategic, tactical and psychological development of high growth entrepreneurs. Grounded in cutting edge entrepreneurship research and science, the series is designed and hosted by RMIT Lecturer and serial entrepreneur, Lauren Rielly.

  • RMIT’s Applied Entrepreneurship students receive a closed one hour lecture at 3.30pm each Tuesday. 
  • High growth speakers take the cinema stage at 4.30pm to share their story, wisdom and action steps. Each event in the Speaker Series has been made open to the public, for the first 50 people to RSVP. 
  • 5.30pm kicks off the entrepreneurship social event at Oxford Scholar Hotel.
